DESCRIPTION:Western TTAP and National RTAP are proud to partner to provide tribes with our 2-day Tribal Transit Workshop. \nThis training is designed using the framework established by the National RTAP Transit Manager’s Toolkit\, an online resource designed to help new rural transit managers operate efficiently and comply with Federal FTA Section 5311 regulations. This training covers Administration\, Operations and Planning\, Compliance\, and Tribal Transit\, with references to key Federal circulars. Regularly updated\, the Toolkit provides current guidance and allows users to suggest new topics for practical\, day-to-day management support. \nThe workshop is designed for new rural and tribal transit managers who need a practical reference for day-to-day operations and FTA Section 5311 compliance. It provides essential guidance to help transit organizations run smoothly and meet Federal requirements. \nBy the end of the training\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand the core responsibilities of rural and tribal transit managers.\nNavigate Federal regulations and ensure compliance with FTA Section 5311 requirements.\nApply best practices in administrations\, operations\, and planning for transit management.\nIdentify and utilize Federal circulars and guidance relevant to transit management.\nAccess and leverage Toolkit resources to address day-to-day management challenges.\n\n\nLocation: \nCalifornia Department of Transportation\nCaltrans District 7\n100 Main Street\nRoom 1.040A\nLos Angeles\, CA 90012 \nCost: \nThe cost for this workshop is $150 per person. \nHotel Accomodations: \nA block of rooms have been reserved at: \nDoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown\n120 S Los Angeles St.\nLos Angeles\, CA 90012 \nPlease note: you must book your hotel room by July 20 to receive the group rate. \nThere are separate charges for parking\, as follows: \n\nOvernight Self-Parking: $39 + tax per car\, per day\nOvernight Valet Parking: $48 + tax per car\, per day
