Let’s Dial-up Accurate GTFS Data for NTD Reporting and Rider Conference (Virtual)

November 5 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Accurate and up to date General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data is critical to ensure a positive rider experience. GTFS data requires maintenance and updates. Incorrect or expired GTFS data is often more confusing to the transit rider than having no data at all. Imagine waiting for a bus where the bus will no longer stop, the service hours have changed because a holiday was not coded correctly, or the route canceled altogether. This webinar will support rural transit agencies as they begin their GTFS updates. Attendees will learn how to conduct a data quality review and how to update GTFS data feeds.

Who should attend: Transit agency staff and planners responsible for GTFS reporting, staff responsible for NTD reporting, GIS team for city/county/Tribe, Data analysts

Presenters: -Thomas Craig, Washington Department of Transportation, Public Transportation Division, Transportation Planner -Marcy Jaffe, National RTAP GTFS Contractor -Al Benedict, National RTAP (Moderator)
