Drowsy driving and distracted driving are persistent, but preventable dangerous driving behaviors. There are numerous examples of legislative, enforcement, education and technology strategies that are being used across the country to address these issues and bring down their prevalence. As states put together their upcoming Triennial Highway Safety Plans, the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) and General Motors (GM) are partnering on a series of two virtual information exchanges to highlight and share successful programs that can serve as inspiration and models that other states can use in their program planning.
