Aggressive driving remains a persistent traffic safety challenge, contributing to crashes, injuries, and unsafe roadway environments. Effective, evidence-based strategies can address these behaviors and promote safer driving cultures.

In this webinar, Dr. Bridget Hanson will share key findings, insights, and resources from a recently completed Traffic Safety Culture Transportation Pooled Fund project focused on reducing aggressive driving. The project explored innovative approaches to engaging bystanders and tested media messages designed to reduce aggressive driving.

Participants will learn how bystander engagement can be leveraged to reduce aggressive driving, how supportive, nonjudgmental messaging can encourage safer driving behaviors, and how these approaches can help strengthen traffic safety culture. Attendees will also gain access to practical tools and resources that can be used in their own communities and programs.
