The August 13 webinar from 8:30 -10:00 a.m. will focus on Safe Routes Back to School. As students across Maryland prepare for a new school year, we want their journeys to be safe and smooth so they can focus on learning. In this webinar attendees will:
- Learn about Maryland’s exciting new pilot program for counties to have designated Safe Routes to Schools coordinator with Meg Young, Deputy Director of Active Transportation and Micromobility at MDOT.
- Hear from the National Safe Routes to Schools Partnership’s Program and Engagement Manager, Kori Johnson, about ways to bring Safe Routes to your Community.
