Course Summary:
This two-day virtual training explores the selection and implementation of low-cost measures for reducing fatalities and injuries caused by road departures and collisions. This course will cover topics such as keeping vehicles in their lanes, vegetations and sight lines, and roadway hazards.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Explain the importance of reducing collisions and the challenges to fully implementing collision reduction techniques
- Identify roadway safety issues
- Describe low-cost measures for correcting safety issues by:
- Keeping the driver on the road
- Reducing or eliminating hazards in the clear zone
