Arizona

The National Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) was established in 1981 as the Rural Technical Assistance Program (RTAP). It is the primary way that the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) helps local transportation agencies learn about maintaining and improving their roads, innovative methods and materials, and ways to work smarter.

AZ LTAP provides an annual membership option that allows local public agencies the opportunity to receive training at no additional cost to their agency. This membership fee is often paid for through an agency’s Council of Government/Metropolitan Planning Organization.

California

CALTAP and its staff of workforce development professionals are part of the Center for International Trade & Transportation (CITT) at California State University, Long Beach.

Hawaii

The Hawai‘i LTAP supports the state’s transportation systems by providing training, resources, and technical assistance. We are dedicated to fostering innovation, workforce development, and collaboration across all levels of government.
